President’s message

How do we need your help? We need to provide education and work together to stop arson and its related crimes. I have been very fortunate to follow in the foot steps of other who have provided leadership in this field. Over the next year, we can work together to continue their efforts. We are always planning seminars incorporate hands on work in investigation with experience in the court room.  It is vital to the organization to provide continuous educational opportunities for our membership.  

We will continue to have one day seminars throughout the state at the basic level and training at the intermediate level as well. We will be providing resource information, numbers and articles in a newsletter and mail out. We hope to have a members section in the Newsletter to report on activities in each local area. Your input is needed. We are developing a web page which will be interactive so that we can post questions and provide input to each other throughout the State. We are working on developing stronger bonds between the private and the public sector. We are hoping to work with the Alabama Arson Task Force to sponsor a seminar and provide additional training. Each member’s input in the type of training needed is greatly appreciated. Should you have ideas regarding training needed, articles to be published, information on members for the "members section" of the News Letter, or just information on ways to improve the AAAI, please call or e-mail me or any other officer or director of the AAAI.
